Integrated Water Services Ltd. (IWS), a sister company of South Staffordshire Water and a part of South Staffordshire plc, provides specialist services in all aspects of water hygiene, abstraction, distribution, analysis and treatment, distribution network repair and maintenance, rehabilitation, alteration and extension.
IWS supplies a wide range of services to the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial and retail customers.
IWS, formerly OnSite - Water Treatment Services and Pump Services, which provided a range of engineering based services dealing with all aspects of the water cycle, has grown organically and more recently by controlled acquisition.
IWS acquired Brocol Consultants in December 2006, who had an excellent reputation in providing water hygiene services over a 17 year period and Wells Water in April 2008 who, for 10 years provided water hygiene risk assessment and service in the North West of England.
Both Brocol and Wells Water have now been fully integrated and re-branded into the IWS business.
In April 2010, IWS were delighted to announce the acquisition of ION Water and Environmental Management Ltd. This strategic acquisition will strengthen the IWS water hygiene service provision within Scotland and the North East of England.
The acquisition facilitates an established reporting centre, client base and workforce within Scotland providing opportunities to further expand the IWS client base and regionalised delivery of both water hygiene and M&E services.
More recently, in April 2011, following an internal reorganisation within South Staffordshire plc, IWS absorbed a sister company in the form of Tipton based Underground Pipeline Services Ltd, which has moved en-bloc to become its specialist pipelines division. This move creates an enhanced business providing a wider range of synergistic services to new and existing clients under a single, experienced senior management team, particularly strengthening the business' position in the Midlands area, where our pipelines division is based and in the South East of England, where they are also active.
Integrated Water Service's primary business objective is to establish and maintain long term working relationships with a client base that will benefit directly from the experience, knowledge and expertise within Integrated Water Services and the wider South Staffordshire PLc group.
The core services provided by IWS are delivered by utilising the experience and expertise of a directly employed resource.
Integrated Water Service's success is based upon the expertise of its staff and ability to understand the client’s requirements whilst delivering cost effective solutions through effective management.
Integrated Water Services firmly believes that the services it provides, which are tailored to meet the specific needs of the client, are professional, cost effective and reliable.
IWS operate nationally from eight regional bases across the country plus a fully equipped specialist engineering workshop in the midlands.
